Oxygenated gasoline

The term 'Oxygenated gasoline' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' Finished motor gasoline, other than reformulated gasoline, having an oxygen content of 2.7percent or higher by weight and required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to be sold in areas designated by EPA as carbon monoxide (CO) nonattainment areas. See Nonattainment area'.
